Further down the road (still walking distance) you´ll be able to find restaurants with both local and international cuisine. One of the most liked restaurants downtown is Bistro Boquete, "EL Sabrosón" for Panamanian food. In the south corner of the central plaza, you´ll find Barú Restaurant for American type cuisine, great pizzas, full bar and music, suitable for all ages.
If you are in the mood for dancing, during the weekends you can go to La Cabaña for live music, disco DJ and full bar. For a more quiet bar-hop experience, try Toco Madera bar & Lounge.
A less formal night experience are; Restaurante Amigos and Mike´s Global Grill both among the favorites for ex pats and tourists, American type food and full bar.
If you want to mingle with locals or "Boqueteños" we must recommend the many Eight ball Pool Houses in downtown. Boqueteños are PASSIONATE about pool, if you are good enough, you might enter a pool tournament, they play hard and bet hard! Or you can hang around, play some pool for fun and enjoy a cold beer for less than a dollar.
There you have it, our recommendations for you to expend your nights in Boquete, don´t forget a light jacket as nights get chilled. So, make your plans and come to Boquete, we´ll be waiting for you at La Casa de la Abuela!
